The DSL-1E Universal Diesel Tachometer Interface accepts varied RPM signals and converts the information into a signal for 4, 6 or 8 cylinder, EFI engine tachometers. Able to receive a signal from the "W" terminal found on some diesel alternators, a timing gear (crank trigger) signal or a fly-wheel sensor, the DSL-1E is fully adjustable to allow for calibration to your gauge of choice. An on board digital readout and integrated switches allow for push-button calibration.
Many late model diesel alternators do not have a "W" terminal. We provide you instructions on how to convert your alternator to output a signal which the DLS-1E can convert to run your tachometer.
Unit measures 4" x 2" x 1" and is designed to be mounted inside a vehicle.
