One of the problems associated with fitting larger tyres on Nissan Patrols is the lack of tyre to mud guard clearance when turning.

The other aspect of fitting larger tyres is usually a suspension upgrade which always requires the use of longer travel shock absorbers. When longer shockers are used more suspension travel can be achieved. This increase in travel can cause the rear radius arm bushes to become distorted, this distortion can result in the rubber being forced out of its socket and ultimately damaged beyond use. 

The front diff spacer kit moves the front diff forward 10mm and at the same time encapsulates the rubber preventing it from becoming dislodged.
