Marks 4WD Adaptors is an Australian company, specialising in the design and manufacture of quality accessories that enhance the off road performance of four wheel drive vehicles.

Body lift kits are available for a large range of vehicles. The kits consist of spacers and bolts and can be supplied singularly as the number required does vary from vehicle to vehicle.

The spacers are manufactured from either mild steel bar which is zinc plated for corrosion resistance or alternately impact resistant nylon. The bolts supplied are corrosion resistant stainless steel or grade 8.8 high tensile steel.

All of the following kits are supplied with 70mm x 3mm washers which are fitted between the body and the body lift spacers. We highly recommend welding these washers to the body for maximum strength. This photo shows a cracked body mounting point on a Toyota with a 2" lift. The body spacers in this vehicle were not previously fitted with strengthening washers. To carry out the repair we welded the cracks, ground the welds flat and then welded the strengthening washers in place.

Basic Fitting Requirements

25mm body lifts are the easiest to fit requiring very few modifications. The front and rear bars in most cases don't require lifting.

50mm body lifts will require some modifications for a successful installation. Gear levers will need to be bent and in some cases lengthened. Gear lever boots may also need modification to reduce the possibility of gear drop out from extra boot load. After fitting a body lift kit the front and rear bar mounting points will need to be raised for best appearance. Clutch hydraulic hose, mounting points can also require shifting.

We recommend you contact your local RTA in your State in regards to legal requirements before fitting a body lift.

Body lift spacers and bolts can be bought individually to enable you to build a kit for your special application.

This is a photo of our latest design body lift spacers, they have been made wider at the top to reduce body movement and better match the 75mm diameter 3mm thick washers which are supplied in all of our kits.

Land Cruiser Body Lift Kits

NOTE: These cab chassis body lift kits will only lift the cab. If your vehicle is fitted with a ute body and you wish to raise it with the cab, extra spacers will need to be purchased. Some tray bodies can also be lifted this way or alternately 50X50 RHS can be used.

Nissan GQ Body Lift Kits

Vehicles fitted with 50mm or higher body lifts require the hi/low gear lever to be extended, the gear lever boot also requires modification to allow for the extra travel of the lever in the boot. the extra travel increases the pressure put on the lever by the boot, this can, under some conditions allow the lever to select 4WD when not required. This locking plate allows the hi/low lever to be locked positively into high range 2WD or 4WD.
