Heavy Duty Radiator for Chevy V6 and Commodore  Engines

HEAVY DUTY RADIATOR

FOR

CHEVY V6 AND COMMODORE/OLDSMOBILE 3.8 LTR EFI V6 ENGINES

Marks 4WD Adaptors now stock heavy duty radiators to suit Chevy V6 and Commodore/Oldsmobile V6 EFI engines fitted in Hilux/4-Runner, Surf and Bundera petrol or diesel vehicles.

The original Toyota 2-core petrol radiator is large enough to keep the V6 engine cool as long as an engine driven fan is used. Marks 4WD Adaptors 1994 VS V6 Hilux has been running for the last 4 years on a 2 core radiator without any over heating problems. The 3-core diesel radiator is also large enough to keep the Commodore engine cool.

For extreme conditions Marks 4WD Adaptors stock a new 4-core radiator with special side mounting brackets that allow the radiator to bolt up to the same mounting points as the original one. The radiator is also fitted with a high-pressure 135kpa cap the top and bottom spouts have also been re-sized and positioned to suit the Commodore engine.

Late Model Hilux Info

Vehicles fitted with 2.7ltr petrol and 3ltr diesel engines manufactured 1997 and later are fitted with aluminium radiators with plastic header tanks. These plastic header tanks can't be modified to take different spouts, when converting these vehicles we suggest that you purchase either a new earlier model copper core radiator such as the ones mentioned above or use a custom all aluminium type.
