The original Toyota 2-core petrol radiator is large enough to keep the V6 engine cool as long as an engine driven fan is used. The 3-core diesel radiator is also large enough to keep the Commodore engine cool.

Vehicles fitted with 2.7ltr petrol and 3ltr diesel engines manufactured 1997 and later are fitted with aluminium radiators with plastic header tanks. These plastic header tanks can't be modified to take different spouts, when converting these vehicles we suggest that you purchase either a new earlier model copper core radiator such as the ones mentioned above or use a custom all aluminium type.
