The chassis bracket is replaced with one supplied in three parts and is assembled in the vehicle, this bracket utilises the standard Hilux/4Runner mounting rubber. The rubber is then bolted to the original GM bracket through another bracket supplied in the kit. This design allows the use of the standard GM air conditioning compressor if required. NOTE: The new chassis bracket must be welded to the chassis.

On the right hand side of the vehicle.

The right hand engine mounting bracket bolts to the Commodore V6 engine block and fits directly onto the mounting rubber and chassis post found in all Hilux/4-Runner 22R petrol and all diesel 4-cylinder models.

This kit is also supplied with brackets that relocate the steering damper under the track rod. They consist of a new chassis bracket that is welded to the chassis on the driver (right hand side). The other bracket supplied mounts the damper to the track rod.
