| NOTE: To enable any Commodore V6 engine to be fitted to this vehicle you must change the transmission to either a later model 5-speed, Marks 4WD heavy duty 5-speed or the TH700 Automatic transmission from a Commodore. |

Commodore V6 VN Series 1 Automatic Engine Requirements You will need to obtain the
following components. The Commodore V6 engine complete with, the main engine wiring harness, the ECM computer and mem-cal. Other accessories such as, the map sensor, purge canister (carbon canister), air cleaner and ducting if required, air conditioning compressor if required (if not they make a great air compressor), power steering pump, engine pipes with O2 sensor and catalytic converter, external fuel pump and damper. If you are fitting the V6 engine to a 5-speed you will require the V6 flex plate. If you are fitting the TH700 automatic transmission the flex plate and starter will also be required. Note: The series one VN engines have two crankshaft bolt patterns and starter motor types, the manual transmission type and the automatic transmission type. For this reason flywheels are not interchangeable. |
