Genuine OEM Toyota Alternator Brush Assembly (Holder & Brushes) to suit the Toyota LandCruiser 1VD-FTV Alternator.

Due to the alternator’s low location on the 1VD engine, it is susceptible to brush damage, which can prevent charging.

You could carry a spare alternator, but they are heavy and bulky. The easiest solution is to carry just this brush assembly as an essential spare.

Installation is quick & easy: remove the alternator from the engine, clean it, remove the rear cover, remove the old brushes and fit the new ones, reinstall the rear cover, and refit it back onto the engine.
