Designed in collaboration with Saber Offroad, Marks4WD has re-engineered their 79 series high clearance towbar to incorporate the Saber Offroad’s patented soft shackle recovery points, setting a new standard in safe vehicle recovery.

Soft shackles have become the must-have item for your recovery kit by providing various benefits in recovery situations compared to traditional metal shackles.

One of the significant advantages of soft shackles is the safety factor of not having heavy metal shackles becoming lethal weapons during a failed recovery, with additional benefits including reduced weight for your recovery kit, easy storage, and no concerns with corrosion or threads jamming.

Our towbar distinguishes itself from the standard design by integrating the tow hitch receiver into the towbar’s centre crossbar rather than hanging below and reducing the vehicle departure angle.

In combination with our one-piece design providing superior strength and rigidity, the highest departure angle available, lightweight at 34kg, and now designed with soft shackle recovery points, there’s simply no reason to pass up on our 79 series LandCruiser tow bar.

Height Comparison with Factory Toyota Towbar

The photos display how the Marks 4WD high clearance towbar design integrates the receiver into the crossbar, keeping it 60mm higher than the factory Toyota tow bar receiver.

Combining the integrated receiver and slimmer design with higher mounting points results in an extra 95mm of ground clearance over the standard factory Toyota tow bar.
