Low Range Gears 48% (2.85:1) Reduction (Auto) to suit Mitsubishi Gen 1

Marks 4WD Adaptors manufacture low range reduction gears to suit the many models of Mitsubishi Pajero, Montero and Shogun. These gears are manufactured in-house at our facility in Melbourne, Australia. We manufacture the 48% reduction gears for the Generation 1 transfer cases.

The 48% reduction gears give you a great overall reduction and suit vehicles fitted with manual or automatic transmissions. These are suited to vehicles used for rock crawling, sand, desert, etc. or vehicles prone to run away downhill (fitted with an automatic transmission). For example, this reduction gives a manual vehicle about one gear below where the factory gearing sat. The high range is not altered when fitting our low-range gears.

Will these Gears fit my Vehicle?

You will need to remove and open the transfer case and check that the gear has a bore through the centre.
