Engine: Diesel 4-cylinder (2LT) 2.4 ltr turbocharged.Gearbox: 5-speed manual and is the same as the Toyota Hilux G52 5-speed. The gear ratios are as follows
  • 1st 3.928:1
  • 2nd 2.333:1
  • 3rd 1.451:1
  • 4th 1:1
  • 5th 0.851:1
  • reverse 4.743:1
 The transfer case is the same as the Toyota Land Cruiser split transfer case and is part-time 4WD with a 34mm idler shaft and a low range ratio of 2.276:1The differential ring and pinion tooth count is 39/8 giving a ratio of 4.88:1

 The transfer case is the same as the Toyota Land Cruiser split transfer case and is a part-time 4WD with a low range ratio of 2.295:1The differential ring and pinion tooth count is 39/8 giving a ratio of 4.88:1
