Low Range Gear Set – 75% (3.56:1) Reduction to suit Nissan Patrol GQ / GU
Marks4wd offer four different reduction ratios that suit various vehicle applications and requirements. These gears will suit both automatic and manual vehicles.
The 75% reduction gears give you the median between the – 85% rock crawling ratio and the – 43% reduction gears we offer.
These are ideally suited to rock-crawling vehicles or vehicles that are prone to run away downhill (fitted with an automatic transmission). For example, this reduction gives a manual vehicle about two full gears below where the factory gearing sat.
The maximum speed in low range will be approximately the same as the third gear with standard gearing, while the high range is not altered when fitting our low-range gears.

As the installation requires the transfer case to be disassembled and the reuse of bearings, it is a good time to do a transfer case rebuild. We also offer the full bearing and seal kits for the Nissan GQ / GU Patrols.
