Benefits of the Terrain Tamer Air Filter

The sealing surface of the factory airbox can be too narrow to match and correctly seal the engine intake from the ingress of dust on some Toyota LandCruiser vehicles.

As a result, dust can bypass the filter element and enter the engine’s intake, causing excessive wear and possible damage.

Terrain Tamer has developed a stainless steel insert providing a wider surface area to match the air filter, which, when used with the sealant provided in the kit, improves the seal and reduces the possibility of dusting.
