Full Floating Axle to suit the H233 rear diff housing found in GU/Y61 Nissan Patrols.
The perfect upgrade for high load/torque applications.
The rear axles in a GU/Y61 Nissan Patrol are a semi-floating design, meaning the drive flange and axle shaft are one piece. This type of axle is subjected to the normal torsional strain of a driven axle but is also subjected to shear stress as the wheel bearing runs directly on the axle thus taking the weight of the vehicle through its weaker one-piece design.
The Marks4wd fully floating axle kit uses a drive flange assembly which is separate from the 4340 axles themselves. The axles only task is to transmit power to the wheel hub, meaning the axle is subjected to torsional load only.
The drive flange bolts onto our specially-made wheel hub, which runs on the custom-manufactured stub axle. We have utilised two tapered Toyota Landcruiser wheel bearings and locknut assembly for easy adjustment and reliability. This means the weight of the vehicle will be transferred to the diff housing rather than the axle shaft itself. Creating an overall much stronger setup.

Notes
- Does not suit the Nissan Patrol GQ/Y60 or the H260 diff housing (the early GU models with ZD30 & manuals had H260 diff housings)
