Mitsubishi Gen 4 – Low Range Gears 66% (3.15:1) Reduction
Marks 4WD Adaptors manufacture low range reduction gears to suit the many models of Mitsubishi Pajero, Montero and Shogun. These gears are manufactured in-house at our facility in Melbourne, Australia. We manufacture two reduction ratios for the Generation 3 transfer cases to suit different vehicle applications and requirements.
The 66% reduction gears give you a great overall reduction and suit vehicles fitted with a manual transmission. These are mainly suited vehicles used for rock crawling, sand, desert or vehicles that are prone to run away downhill. For example, this reduction gives a manual vehicle about one and a half gears below where the factory gearing sat. The high range is not altered when fitting our low-range gears.

Will these Gears fit my VeVehicleYou will need to remove and open the transfer case and check the idler gear has external shoulders for the roller bearings, and the face width of the gear must be approximately 25mm and 20mm, respectively. Please see the image below for reference;
